I got back from the Philippines and was not feeling well. I had bought home something that was not a planed souvenir. Again,
I was laying on the daybed in the summer room 'suffering' (poor me) and watching Spielberg's movie 'Empire of the Sun'. One of his greatest movies I reckon and it has a rather 'haunting' theme song.
And I was thinking that I should learn to play that tune before I die. (The way I was feeling, I felt that it could happen soon)
So I had a bit of a 'Google' and found that is was a Celtic lullaby called 'Sao Gan'. I managed to find the 'sheet' for it and this is the result.
I have included the sheet music below. It's a rather easy piece. A good one for the new players to have in their 'quiver'.
Seen it all. Done it all. Can't remember most of ..... What was I saying????

Thanks folk for the kind words
Looking at it again I think that I should have given it a bit more practice time before recording. It was only about 3 days after I started on the tune.
May have to do a 'redo' down the track a bit.
