I believe I read about a ancient tribe of chicken fiddlers deep in the Amazon jungle .

Who believed that stretching a chicken neck to resemble a finger board and plucking its feathers to the tune of yankee doodle would endow them with magic fiddle playing powers .

These powers enabled them to conjure up evil chicken spirits to overcome their enemys. 

Of course they did this, all wearing loin cloths and nose rings.

 

Or was that a episode of Gilligan's Island?   Hmm.  dunno
