This is a selection from Thomas Moore's Soul of Christmas, just some video to show what I think is the correct bow hold and also left hand wrist/fingering.  As always, let me have it!blink

I was asked my the music director to practice "Lo How a Rose Er Blooming" for the Christmas Eve mass, to have a violin solo with the choir!

Thanks Fiddlerman (and community) this is a goal all in itself.  When I started two years ago, I hoped for something like this!

Looks like fun. Keep it up. Good idea recording yourself too for added preparation. :)

You get a badge too! Let me know if you get any other badges as I am not keeping up.

Thanks.  It's great to have your feedback.  I can get the notes right, just hoping it comes out ok

Hi there.. sorry for the late response.

I have to do a process... to actually hear the videos... (long story)

Nice job and thank you so much for posting.  It is always super nice to have people that were here two years ago.. still come around and post.

Love your smiles, your bow hold and fingering... pretty song too!!
