Hello all! I went ahead and quickly recorded myself playing the Mario theme. I always get a little nervous when I play with others or record myself, so I got a little tense and there are mistakes and such, but hope you enjoy it!

Great playing Johannes! You really do make that song look easy to play haha. I see what you were talking about in the chat last night too, all over the place with the bow and the fingerboard as the song calls for. Talk about a good work out! Thanks for sharing man.

It's amazing how much video game themes stick with us after hours of playing those games!

When I first learned piano, I instinctively played the Zelda theme! ......hmm.....maybe I should try that on violin!

Ha ha, this theme really doesn't like its key; sharps and flats all over!

The Zelda theme is definitely one that I want to learn to play eventually. There are a good number of memorable game themes that I'd like to play; Super Mario 64's "Dire Dire Docks" would be amazing.

As for the Canon, we'll see. I might pass on this round. Too bad I wasn't around for the Ghostbusters one!
