As promised over on Violaman.com here is my latest recording of a well known tune. See my earlier version over as VM to see the difference. I still need work on my intonation, and a few hesitations, but with the new (almost a year now) Fiddlerman Master Viola, I love the new rich and deep sounds... And now for your listening pleasure, review and enjoyment, Swallowtail2016...

@Ripton  - "one last time" you said - roflol- I hate it ( not your playing, the tune )  - if you're like me - you'll never stop playing that darned tune - and you'll just want to play it faster, or bow it differently just to see how it sounds, or with with variations !!

Well done hats_off, sounds good on the viola !  Thanks for the post !

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

LOL @BillyG. I only meant it was this one, or I'll have to start another day. I must have been at that video for about an hour. I stopped counting the "takes" after 47... Why is it I can play a song through with few problems, but once I start recording all bets are off?????

Great job! And I'm the same way... Can play something just fine until I stick a camera in my face, then, nope, can't play through it without fumbling.

Nice job with STJ, Ripton!

When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.
