I use this as a backing track - tennesseewaltz-gecadero.mid

... oops - sorry - that won't link - well - you'll find TW on this page...

http://home.comcast.net/~gecad.....cadero.mid - and it will most likely download immediately - but to see the links to that and other MIDI files - just use http://home.comcast.net/~gecad.....mymidi.htm

Have fun, and improvise to it - it's LOADS of fun - pop in those slides and everything - improvised riffs - or whatever feels good !!!!   Great little tune to work with....

BillyG

EDIT:  Ooops - of course - I caught your post earlier while "passing by" but didn't comment at the time - yup - good work @coolpinkone - "make it your own" ...

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

@BillyG

@Jim Dunleavy

@Schaick

@Fiddlerman

Thank you all for listening and your comment.  I spent a few more days with this one now and I am getting ready to add some changes... or move on.  I finally have it free of sheet music and in my lil ole brain.

thumbs-up

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.

Great job Toni.  You get better every time I hear you play something.

@Uzi thank you.   I hope to spiff this on up a bit.   Playing a lot helps... I have old sheet music from 1959... The sound of music.   Today I played a little bit of "favorite things". It's an orchestra versio. So it is hard to play without turning the sheets but it was fun... I just tinkered around though. Thanks again.

Good job Toni.  One of my favs!

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
