Inspired by the violin clip performed a while ago by Mr. Michael O'Gieblyn ...!

Of course, he played a complex version, on a more expensive violin, and he played much professionally better! :)

This violin is a rather inexpensive one, and may be slightly out of tune. I should have tuned the strings before I played, but I simply forgot doing so! If the pitch bothers any of you, simply tune your ears down (or up) a tad and you'd be fine!  :)

Yes, I'd have loved to play at a perfect pitch, but the goal for me is to enjoy creating the music whenever I can find some time!  I have never officially taken any violin lessons. Neither have I had any private teacher for violin. I simply play along whatever scores I can find. Enjoy!

@V T That was sooo good! Kudos.

I, too, am trying to figure out two pieces that Michael O'Gieblyn played when I was trying to figure out which viola to purchase. I have not succeeded as yet. His versions were beyond my capabilities right now, and I am still searching for simpler versions. It is wonderful how you are able to do The Godfather Love Theme

Great job. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

@Mouse Thanks for watching.  I suggest to find arrangements from Free-Scores.com. They have simplified arrangements for many types of instruments for different composers' music or periods of music. I love that website (and I contribute small tokens to them from time to time).

Well done, VT.

If you can take some criticism, you could look at those accidentals - you are playing in D major instead of in D minor. You play F# instead of F and B instead of Bb. I can't quite see where your left thumb is, but perhaps it's very high up towards the violin's body, so that you can't stretch your index finger far enough back towards the nut?

@Gordon Shumway.   No I don't mind critique, but as I recall, the score did not have any accidentals of F-# or B-flat.  It's a simple arrangement.  Not sure if it's accurate / correct, but that's is all I could find on the internet. I was inspired, yet, I didn't really play this tune with the goal of a performance.  I simply played the tune as a demo video for selling that violin on the local Craigslist.  It's my friend's kid's violin, and they moved and gave it to us, but I don't want to keep too many violins.

@Gordon Shumway  I just sold that violin!  Maybe I should always take inspiration from Mr. O'Gieblyn's demos and do similar (simplified) ones...!  They work ! violin-student  :)
