Can't wait to hear it!  When I first saw the title, I first thought it was going to be some of Bach's fugues.  I completely forgot about his Cello suite!

Oh absolutely!!  Just look at progressive metal!!  I've played bass in a few prog bands and it was almost like playing classical!  Bach would have had a field day with what's available now!

......It reminds me of the Beethoven scene in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure!  Where good 'ole Ludwig get's a hold of the synths! LMAO  ....and Gangus Khan in the sporting goods store, e.t.

Really enjoy your vids, you’re an inspiration. You seem to enjoy playing your instrument very much. I like how you improvise and just enjoy playing. You ROCK!!!

If you count Jigs as fiddling then Bach may have invented the style

If she can play it at 15 with an estimated 10 years of violin experience, why cant I at 41 with just 2? lol.

I think Bach would have been a fine fiddler. Imagine if he could have mixed his music like we do.

Also, the girl was wonderful.

If he could have gotten away with it with all of the classical influence at that time I think Bach would've been tearing up the strings fiddle style lol.  Though he 'complied' to all of the standard classical rules there's been much talk of how he really wanted to sway from the 'beaten path'.  Thanks for the great video Barry, Bach would be proud I suspect ;)

I think he'd have shredded his Yamaha with his multiple loop system playing backup instead of an orchestra. His Brandenburg Concerto would have brought down the roof.

People in the audience would have been waiving lit torches in unison. The mosh pit of long hairs and tights would have rock'd the house.

Yea, I can imagine it.  ;)

Long hairs and tights would be a great name for Barrys album.

Sir, to my tastes, that is some of the finest playing I've seen on this site.
