This lady, MillyFalcon as she's called on another forum, put out a call to do some collaboration, and I jumped at the chance. I haven't yet had a chance to do any of the group projects here :(, but one day I'll do it. Anyway here's what came out:

Heck - first 8 bars and I was smiling - it- not finished yet ! Just shows what can be done with a "simple" tune... SWEET - (LOL as @fiddlinsteudel adjusts bow tension.) cool..
HAHAH at very end.... that's what I say to myself every time something goes wrong.. LOL
Nice post man ! TY - and FANTASTIC to have someone to work/collaborate with - first class ! Still smiling here !!!!
And of course respect and ^5's to MillyFalcon !!!! Great !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -

Thanks @BillyG . If you can check out some of her other videos, like blackberry blossom, she's hilarious. And yeah she did all the hard work with the videos!

I've seen other people do that whole looking at different frames so I tried to copy ...

I didn't do any of it, I just got to show up and play ... she did all the hard work, I think she said she used Adobe Premier ...
What do you use when you compile all the group projects?
When I do do my own videos I record in QuickTime then import into iMovie ... would like to get Finale, but can't justify the cost just to do some fiddle videos.

The only bummer on iMovie is that you have to go through a bunch of rigamorale to get multiple movie clips playing at once. (align two, export, import, align another 2, export, then import the two clips back in again).
I use Garageband (an older version) to multitrack. I use audacity for amplification and compression ... also if I record a practice session, I'll use audacity because you can export all the tracks into individual mp3s super easy ... the one time I tried to use audacity to multi track, everything was off by a few milliseconds, not sure if there was a setting to set latency ...

@mad_wed - ABSOLUTELY - it "just works" doesn't it?
Oh and @fiddlinsteudel of course - I commented on the post already - and was close to being lost for words on all the stuff you post!
Naska said "fantastic" - and what I see as "fantastic" is that folks like you are happy to share their work with beginners like us ( well, for my part, I'm a beginner )
Thanks again man @fiddlinsteudel - it is inspiration and motivation for us all - good work! ( LOL and yes, been checking out Milly ! Cool ! )

Thanks for the kind words! It's fun to share stuff and if it helps someone else out then it's a major bonus! But I even if it's not helpful to anyone else, I like record myself so I can critique my own playing.
