I would like to share an audio recording of my grandfather(Thomases great grandfather) playing an audition tape he sent into the Lawrence Welk show back in 1963. Although I have the entire recording, for some reason i was only able to copy a few minutes of the first song, Czardas. He died shortly after this and I never asked my father if anything was even heard back. But he was a sensational violinist. He, too, loved fiddlin' music, with one of his songs(as you can hear my father say at the beginning)was Fiddlin' the Fiddle.

I have several cassettes I wanted to convert to MP3s. I found this inexpensive player that plays the cassette though USB and I recorded using the free Audacity audio editor on my laptop.
