I have this bow stamFB_IMG_1641049338858.jpgImage EnlargerFB_IMG_1641049346434.jpgImage EnlargerFB_IMG_1641049352311.jpgImage EnlargerFB_IMG_1641049360237.jpgImage Enlargerped G.A. Pfretzchner, Germany.

It has had the tip respliced and you can see what else it needs from the pix.

It has a nice arc and is very straight and solid

Is it of any worth? Value?

@Scotchirish -

WELCOME to the forum!

I'm afraid I'm a practical person, not an antiques dealer - so bow value to me is based strictly on performance, which you can't judge without restoration.

Do you play the violin?

@Scotchirish -

Sorry, I should've asked you - are you considering refurbishing this bow?

It seems it could possibly be a great find!

Not sure. Waiting on some expert opinions. I have a very nice J.LaSalle bow that I really like, and a carbon fibre that I didn't want to like😊but do (I am a wood purist I guess).

Methinks if you are looking at selling bows, an expert opinion can be of help, but if you are planning on picking a bow to play with, YOUR opinion is the most important.
