Can't say much about my new violin yet...

I can tell you what I have done to make my Cecilio CEVN that I've had for a month to feel/sound better though.   First thing was to replace the strings with some D'Addario Preludes.   Then I went to a FM carbon fiber box.   Then I replaced the bridge as the d string gave me grief crossing.   Now I like it... even if I'm still learning the basics.

But my new one...  well, I seriously doubt I will have to do much at all for it to make me happy.  It's a FM Concert Violin outfit.  Just getting the tracking numbers was music to my ears already.

Will do on the update...   got my Fiddlerman Video today from where it was tuned and tested...  At least I will know how to hold it and make some sound as opposed to when my electric one arrived.

If the violin is anywhere near the quality of customer service you get from the staff at the Fiddlershop....  Dealt with Mike online when I bought my FM carbon fiber bow in a chat window, and then talked on the phone about my violin order.   Knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly....   exactly what you want, just like I think this violin/fiddle will be for me at this point in my life.  Will have it in the next few days :)
