I wanted to know if a 5-string viola with a low-F string was ever made. I have seen 5-string violas with a high E string, but I can't help but wonder if a low-F string could be done as well. I mean on the violin, a Low C-string is able to be accommodated, so why not a low F on the viola? Has this ever been done before?
