Best wishes to you and Les, @Leanna . I hope he has a speedy recovery and that you're both back playing together very soon.On a side note, maybe I'm slow on the uptake or haven't been paying enough attention to the forum lately, but I just realized that we have two members with nearly identical names: @Leana and @Leanna. I was momentarily confused reading through this thread...thought a member was talking to herself.
You're not alone. I was confused as well.
@Leanna I hope you're husband has a speedy recovery! Take care of yourself, too.
It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself. Johann S.Bach

Les, the cellist, here. I still hope that Leanna and I might be able to make a submission, . . . Who knows? Thanks for the good wishes; I am making a great recovery from the "tripple" surgery. And, I thought I was in pretty good shape. If I stay away from the upper half of the bow on my higher strings, A and D, it's not too difficult to play. But, I won't push it beyond what's safe. I am so thankful for Leanna's love and care; she has been here for everything.

Tempo - I'm happy !
Dunno about the melody line or not - ( it doesn't matter for me - just thinking about others ) - it would be fine for vln1, but if you're thinking "some could get lost" - they would probably still get lost on the other parts trying to "play against the melody-line".... just my thoughts. Again, from my own perspective - I don't mind - oh - if I HAD to make a decision - it would be just the click, no melody (really for the reason I gave). Oh heck - do both ! Grrrrrr..... LOL
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

This sounds like so much fun! Although E flat in particular scares me...Has anyone seen those dog videos where the owners dress the dogs up, and then go behind them and use their own arms/hands in the sleeves, to pretend the dogs are eating at the table? so funny....maybe we could do something like that for the snaps with an invisible partner...lol...
Is there a 'complete idiot's guide' as to how to follow the instructions for submissions? I have no clue to to convert to MP4 or MPEG-4 or SPREND....
I just figured out how to record using my laptop on you tube. I guess I'll have to get some headphones/earbuds to listen to the playback file; but I'm not sure if I can do both at the same time to make a recording; I don't have a smart phone....
But hey, Halloween!
