Too funny!  I love the Muppets!!

The first time Mom and I ever saw Sesame Street we were sitting in a hotel in Chicago.  I was in High School.  We were a bit sad because we were having to move again, after spending 8 years in Bloomington, the longest I had ever lived anywhere at the time.

LOL!  I just thought of another funny incident connected with this move.

Anyway we were sitting in the hotel and those characters  from Sesame Street came on the TV.  We never, ever laughed so hard over their dancing and singing of the alphabet.  It was such a welcome release of tension.

It is just amazing how much expression puppeteers can get out of those characters.

The other story - Just after we learned we were moving and all the deals were done, Mom decided the whole family needed to go to a movie to relax.  You will not believe the movie my dear, sweet, quiet and loving mother chose .... DELIVERANCE!!

Violinist start date -  May 2013

Fiddler start date - May 2014

FIDDLE- Gift from a dear friend. A 1930-40 german copy, of a french copy of a Stradivarius.  BOW - $50 carbon fiber. Strings - Dominants with E Pirastro Gold string.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. Thanks for the laughs, John @Ferret and Patty @Schaick . Mr. Scratchy and I had a good belly laugh over that video. And, thanks for sharing that story, Patty. I'm sure your mom was appalled.

:)

It's never too late to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.

@Ferret,roflol - That is so funny!!

The Muppets are great, I especially like Beaker! For those that may not know, he's the skinny one with the red hair and high voice.

Thank you John, for bringing us a good laugh.

@Schaick, Enjoyed your stories! Deliverance, to relax.....lol! I bet that was a shock, and probably not at all what she had in mind.
