Yeah, I am not even close there yet, maybe in a week or two. No hurry, no rush! Just a spot for those working on it to get updates and post progress.

Oh I love this little ditty.  I can play it, not well, but what ever.  I'll try for that elusive video soon.

I've worked on Turkey sporadically but this will give me a reason to nail it down.

BTW, I was going to refer to Turkey In The Straw by it's acronym until I realized what it spells.

Hahahha.  Too funny Diane.

Ok, I just happened to have my fiddle at work today so got a couple of minutes to bring it out.  Sorry this recording is from my cell phone which is only a fairly competent phone and not a smart phone so it recorded it sideways.

LOL!  Someone on the chat wanted a T-shirt made with that acronym!  OK here is my video.

My goal is to work on it every day and re-post an improved version by the end of the month.  All of you are responsible for holding me to it OK?

@Schaick Love your turkey and straw photo hahaha.  Awesome.

@Picklefish , I really like your idea on double stops.  I'm just learning to use these too and can't wait till you figure it out some more so I can copy you lol.

@fishnrodds It's fun to hear the different versions.  Thanks.

That's better, I guess. Or...some acronyms leave out insignificant words like "in" and "the," so it could just be TS. Anything but the actual initials.

P.S. Of course, I meant its, not it's.

Well we are half way through the month.

I tried to get a video to see if I had increased in speed but I got so finger tied and then laughing I had to discard the video.  I do seem to be a bit faster but not that much of a difference.

I recorded a video last weekend but wasn't happy at all with my performance. I'm having a hard time getting the rhythm down. Need more practice...might try a new video this coming weekend.

OK after 23 days of practice.  Notice I have shaved 16 secs off of the video time - so I have sped up a teenyweeny little bit.  I think maybe fewer mistakes?  I hope!
