Howdy y'all, it's been a while! (2014, I wanna say?) I'm back to playing violin since I've just graduated high school and have some free time again đ
Aside from the obvious intonation issues, hitting other strings, and not being able to keep the bow straight, is there anything else I should be working on? (I may or may not have tried to play with the fourth finger in this one...if so, sorry!)
Welcome back! đÂ
I'd say your bow seem to be moving fairly straight. The little bit we see of your bowhand I would suggest you work on your bow hold. Your pinkie need to be sorted out and strenghtened so you can keep it curved and still hold the weight of the bow. Find exercises for bow hold. I found pinkie push-ups a really good one.
