I rediscovered this site and forgot I once joined it.the way it happened was doing a search on why my recordings sound so bad when I'm listening to a replay from a casio camera recording.
well anyway to stay on topic i'll post the video from a couple years ago,lol
I've made considerable progress since the video, but my recordings still sound awful to me.i read the link here on fiddlerman.com and can appreciate why.
however; nothing can prevent this one from sounding bad as a self taught beginner learning by ear.............

I don't think it sounds bad at all, especially for someone learning by ear. I admire that ability in people. I can never seem to get hang of playing something by ear.
