Didn't know if this should have been posted here or in "Off Topic" but I found this interesting. There is a computer aided design program called Fusion 360 that allows designing objects in 3D and can, in turn, output control files to be used to drive computer driven machinery to create the objects that were designed.
On FaceBook (the bane of many), there is a group called "Fusion 360 Luthiers" and what is interesting, there are almost 3,000 members! It is a private group, so I can't see what all goes on there and, as I have not the talent nor need, am not going to attempt to join just so I can "sneak a peek".
Here is their "About This Group"
This group is dedicated to Autodesk Fusion 360 users who focus on building stringed instruments. Whether it's hand-tooled, CNC'd, 3D printed, or just simple a 3D model this is a place you can interact with those who are working on similar projects. You are encouraged to ask questions, give tips/tutorials, or even simply just show off what's currently on your 'bench'. Please strive to keep this a positive and constructive environment!
