You're right that it requires a huge amount of hours to mix it but I learn a lot every time. I believe that I was many times more efficient this year. I probably put 3 full days of work into mixing the project.
I learned to work with Proxy files only until the moment came to export/bounce the finished product. This time I worked with all the files in the project simultaneously instead of making a few separate videos and combining them. I created more compound clips to keep it organized, and was able to copy and paste attributes that would match up.
Some of the videos were filmed with the subject right on the edge, some were closeups and some were not even landscape mode videos which complicated mixing a bit, but I think I kind of expect that now a days. LOL
