Almandin, your play is very nice! Your left hand looks relaxed, I like it!

Fiddlestix said

@ Almandin:  Not crappy, good job. Is it just me or did you move to a new location ? I was waiting for your kitty to attack what you had hanging from the end of your bow. lol.

Thank you both! And yes, Ken, I did move, this summer. Also, Timjan did attack the tinsel when she first saw it, from a vantage point on my piano stool, but by the time I started recording, it was old hat, apparently... laugh
@Fiddlerman : Your explanation makes perfect sense. And if you do make a remix, hopefully @terezka could get in on the fun too! (If Sprend is willing to cooperate this time...)

Pierre, I really sent you an email with this reference:

http://uloz.to/xuGGrEU8/1st-a-wmv

These are four versions of the 1st violin, you can choose the one that you like. If you make a new version, I'll be happy because I wanted to post it as a greeting to my friends. But if you are busy, I agree that you had better enjoy xmas. :)

Almandin, I used another tool to get the files to Pierre, I had no idea it could be a problem. Maybe here he finds them... Or not, I won't go crazy. :)

terezka, I couldn't figure it out. When I choose the download link it brought me to a page with a bunch of choices in Polish that I did not dare choose from. :-(
I think this happened last time I visited the site as well.
Can't you Sprend it to me? http://sprend.com

Pierre,

I can't even imagine how much work you had to put into this project. I know you could never leave someone out. I applaud you and all the people who were involved in the project. Merry Christmas to you Pierre and your family and to all the members of Fiddlerman.

Pierre: Yup, I read only the first response and sprended them all. :)) I hoped that uloz.to is quite friendly for english speaking users, but I'm never sure, I know my language (czech) is strange. :) Thanks for your patience! thumbs-up

John @Ferret , Alma @Almandin and @terezka : you all did a great job!

John: Love the Santa suit, especially the eyebrows. :)

Alma: I can see a lot of progress since your last video. Love the tinsel and the cameo appearance by your tortoiseshell kitty.

Terezka:  I'm very impressed that you played the upper octave part. If you can play in second or third position, you have nothing to be insecure about. Your intonation sounded very good and I noted vibrato in several places.

I know what you mean, though, about getting nervous in front of the camera. I think it happens to all of us. It definitely does to me.

Pierre: please don't lose sleep about this. We all make mistakes, especially when we're overloaded, as you are. If you have time to fix it, fine, but if not, that's just fine, too. You do a great job with these projects and provide a wonderful educational service to all of us by organizing them. Thank you!

Hi Diane

Thanks for the compliments on my eyebrows. Grew them especially for the project rofl

And I definately 'second' your comment to Pierre. He does a difficult job and it helps us all. There is always next year. I'll still be here, bowing away.

That's a thought @Fiddlerman Pierre, how about giving us the song for next year 'now'. I can start practicing it right away and this time 'get it bloody right' roflol

@KindaScratchy, @Ferret, @Almandin, and @terezka, you all did a great job!clap

And I'm so glad you posted your videos so we could see them. Enjoyed them all!

 @Fiddlerman,

I third the sentiment that you shouldn't be losing sleep, or having so much stress over the project. You give a lot to us year round as it is.

And a remix sounds good when, and if, you get to it. But please find some time to relax!

Meanwhile, you should also be able to look forward to enjoying the holiday with your other family and friends.

Hi everybody, many many thanks for your compliments! You are all so kind. I'm not used to such beautiful reactions, my nation is very cold-hearted and many of my friends say I'm weird as I started playing the violin at the age of 25 yrs.

I liked the other videos too, you are great.

Has anyone remarked the pictures behind me? There is a famous composer... Anyone identifies him? :D

Watching the other videos once again... You are all GREAT! No bouncing bows, relaxed hands, good intonation. Great costume and decorations! As i wrote before, we have no Santa and I'm afraid Baby Jesus was naked - NO. This costume NO. roflol Btw, I had to find "roflol" in the dictionary. Crazy ideas, people. :D

Great Job everyone.  This was a fun project to be part of.

Pierre, Thank you for putting these projects together.  They are a great learning tool for everyone involved.  Not only do these projects motivate people to improve their playing, regardless of their skill level, they have also advanced our recording and computer knowledge.

Merry Christmas to all.  Looking forward to the next project in the new year.

Thanks everyone. I know that you guys are forgiving. :-)
I'm happy to say that I added the four videos that you pointed out to me in which I missed. Also added the 2 tracks to the audio. Not that I could ever hear a difference afterwards but Toni, and Terezka's audio tracks are now part of the mix as well.

Thanks again to everyone who participated. I'll try to plan earlier next year. :)

And missing you John, of all people was NOT acceptable. :-)
And I LOVED your Santa Claus performance too. I am always super happy when members go out of their way to make the video even more special.
