Thank you Mouse, Mark, and Elcbk for watching and feedback on Miller of Drone.

This one i heard from a recording of Noel Hill and had to learn it.  Its a happy little hornpipe...Bob Ross voice..

footage feo Savage Gulf and south cumberland state park in middle Tennessee

😳 I don't think I'd pass a test.

Great tune!  Great playing!

...but feels more like the dogs romping around in the yard, not walking thru the woods!

REALLY BEAUTIFUL VIDEO!

Appreciate you shared it!

i was having trouble with the posts last night and had to leave the test post to get the main one to stay visible.. weird.

thanks for watching!  dogs romping.. i can see that.  i rarely plan footage for music though... i just piece together after the fact or use a still.   Sometimes in travelling or in a day.. i may see something that looks interesting and capture it for later... not knowing or thinking about what ill use it for.. its only later ill hodge podge it together for something like this.

@ABitRusty,

Once again, a lovely piece, I kept seeing little girls in frilly dresses and little boys in "short" suits, like from days of yore (at least in movies), dancing through the trails. Just a sweet tune and wonderful video footage.

@ABitRusty  Great playing on The Miller of Drone and The Home Ruler Hornpipe!  Seems tricky rhythm on the Miller, but you've got it.  Nice strolling vibe on The Home Ruler there--definitely Bob Ross Happy Trees feel with the beautiful scenery smile

@ABitRusty -

Thanks for sharing those tunes!

Nice clean/clear sounding notes.  I really enjoyed listening!

I know Leatherwood makes quite a few different rosins, but this sounds interesting.

So, anything more you can say about the rosin?

Sorry for the late reply, I have been in Vienna for a week or so.

Brill job on those tunes, very tight playing I don't think I will be buying that rosin, though, nearly had heart failure when you said the price )

 First one had parts that sounded like Muirshin Durkin,  the song, have a listen and you will see what I mean

Hey, @ABitRusty ! I am back! Loved the tune. You always sound like you are enjoying playing and it always sounds so free! I just love it, and the photo. I always think of one f yours and @stringy's tunes when I get my violin out. It actually helps. I do need a lot of help with it. I can get back to it in a couple of days. I need to get things back to normal. I liked, LOVED, the trip, but hate the getting back to normal.

thank you stringy and mouse!

stringy... "..been in Vienna for a week or so"  now THAT sounds nice!  The rosin is expensive for rosin i guess.   but i probably wont use it all.  Comes glued to a long wood holder.  Do NOT score the top.  Im glad I read their thank you note!

Mouse.. I enjoy it mostly.  theres times though .. you know the deal! 🙂

@ABitRusty -

THE SET SOUNDS GREAT!

You've got happiness floating across from one tune to the next (I like the key changes).

What's wrong with the 2nd tune?  I like it.

Love the scenery, too!

Great stuff, like the triplets, difficult to play sets without making a mistake. But you nailed it.
