I'm retired. I have played the guitar for many years. I played the trombone in school. I also play the piano a little bit. Recently, I attended an Irish festival and they had some fiddles on display that anyone could try to play. I gave it a try and fell in love! I've been obsessed for the last couple of weeks. I've been reading the book Violin for dummies and I've been watching many u-tube videos. I have ordered a Fiddlerman Artist. I've been looking at online lessons by Alison Sparrow, also fiddlerman videos. I'm so excited I can't hardly stand it!

I also like all types but play mainly Irish fiddle tunes, I do dabble with classical, and we have one player who is a lead violist in an orchestra and also plays chamber music, but classical for me is really a workout to improve skills.
Fiddlermans violins are excellent, butI cant get one in the UK I am still waiting for him to open a shop over here, my own fiddle is Hungarian.
Cant beat a sunny day
