I play an acoustic electric Barcus Berry.  What would be a good bow to buy to play with my Barcus Berry?

@lmoralez welcome to the forum. The selection of a bow is rather subjective activity. I just purchased a new wooden bow from Fiddlerman/FiddlerShop after using only the carbon fiber bow I bought in 1996. I had three bows on trial to try and it was a tough decision.

The carbon fiber bows have really become quite good and can handle occasional accidents quite well (like dropping, etc). As a matter of fact somewhere Fiddlerman has a video of a pro golfer using on of the FM bows as a golf club 🙂

I'm sure FM can help you select a bow (wood or carbon fiber) to match your needs. Give them a call. They're great folks. BTW I don't work for them, but I do buy from them and have never been disappointed.

You could always PM me with your budget and I can make some suggestions.
