Ignoring the flubs, am playing Off to California as in a hornpipe rhythm? Am I exaggerating the rhythm?

Flubs aside, that's pretty much the hornpipe rhythm. A hornpipe, does have a distinctive rolling/bouncy rhythm. It's ONE two THREE four, ONE two THREE four. Or if you prefer WAterMElon, WAterMElon...

Thanks!! As I have been searching the internet for explanations I have heard so many say that most people aren't true to the hornpipe and "flatten them out." I want to be as true as possible.
Yes, they are good!!

Good job. I love hornpipes as they are just so much fun. I'm playing one for my next recital.
Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
Yup ( LOL @flubs aside ) ahaha ! yup I think that's not bad at all ( and no - I didn;t think the rhythm was exaggerated - it is there, and WELL present) ! GO FOR IT !
GO FOR IT and enjoy !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
