Came home from my favorite store (half priced books) with some new practice material. Essential Elements 3, Big Book of Wedding Music, and Klengel Technical Studies for cello. Klengel book has no words in it. Its all row after row of 16th notes going up and back down, page after page ad nausea. What makes it interesting to me are the little numbers on top of some of the notes indicating when to shift up. And that's on the first exercise. I'm not going to look past the first page as it might scare me off. It took me 30 minutes to be able to play the first exercise, so this book will probably fill my practice time nicely.
My strips of tape are already wearing off. I'll put them back on once more and when those wear off, I shouldn't need them any more.
