I'm trying to learn the Braveheart theme that is up on the Fiddlerman site - does anyone know of or have a slower version of this ? My fingers can't quite move that fast yet, and I'm having issues latching on to the rhythm with the accent notes. I thought a slower version to listen to might help my brain!

@Michelle.Lea -
Are you playing just to the sheet music or to a video?
Search at musescore.com for sheet music you can listen along with - tools to change speed at top of the sheet music.
If you are learning from a YouTube video, the setting icon will allow you to change the speed (right mouse click to loop).

Id try a couple of things....1 leave off the ornaments and 2 use the youtube video and slow it down. see if that helps any. Another thing that I assume would be "ok" to do ..not sure...maybe ask @fiddlerman if its ok..would be to record his playing and use a slow down app to get a speed thats "right" for you. I think leaving off the ornamnets at firat would probably be a start. not 100% on where its too fast...just assuming.

Obviously I don't mind if someone does that @ABitRustyI'm not sure it's the best approach but I hope you find what you're looking for Michelle. I should remember to play slower on these videos.
@fiddlerman .. do you think its better to practice the ornaments when learning or was it to not try and go to the trouble recording the audio portion of the video and slow that down? if its that..i have trouble with slowing down in youtube because im always somewhere between the 50% and 75% setting.. slow down audio apps seem more granular on adjustments.
Im not sure about the ornament approach as far as leaving them off then adding back in later. that seems to work for me BUT.. the tunes im learning are more open to interpetation i guess. Im guessing that braveheart is more of a set piece of music and if trying to get it like the movie it may cause timing problems when going back to insert them? I guess i didnt think about it like that... interested to hear your take.
