Trivia about tuners.
Through no fault of my own my pitch hearing seems to be improving. This led me to wonder about tuning schemes ... on line for right now. The findings are: How good are online tuners?

I have become fussier about intonation and wondered about on line tuning meters.

Some tests.......

violinonline and fretlessfingerguides.........pitch goes in and out (5-10 cents) with beat. Could be confusing.

onlinetunermetronome and FM .....stable on meter.  Almost sine wave.  FM sounds like organ.

I may redo mine with a true recording of me playing the four notes. The problem will be that there is a difference between perfect fifths and tempered true tones. I'll just nail the A and to the fifths up and below.
We'll see when I find time to do that. LOL

I'm not complaining about the present set up.  Actually I prefer the notes as is because they seem to be harmonic rich giving me more audio "info" for good tuning.

That is nice to hear. It'll save me some time too. ;)
