I have an opportunity to play Mahler's 4th in a workshop in London in May. Any thoughts? Is that a good one to play? I have never played nor really listened to Mahler. I am very tempted since it will give me a chance to learn a new piece and to have lots of fun with it.

Has anybody played it? And what was your experience?

Thanks so much!

Greetings from a foggy island in the English Channel :)

I never heard of it until now. This a video of an orchestra playing it. I like knew things, so if you are anything like me, you would take it on.

I have played it at least 3 times. One of my all time favorites and you will love it. Mahler is addictive. A Mahler symphony will get better every time you hear it.
Enjoy it and come back to tell me I was right. smile
