So, my two little granddaughters had a holiday concert at their day care. We saw the videos. They did a great job. I told my husband we should send them non-toxic flowers. The youngest is not even two yet and could put a petal in her mouth. He said to do it.
I called a local florist in their area on the other side of the country. Had no clue which one would be good. Ordered the flowers. I told her their ages and the reason, like giving an older child flowers right at the end of a special concert in middle or high school. I told her their ages and not to embellish with candy or nuts or any food because one is allergic to some nuts and they are still testing for other things. I am very careful with that, even from way over here.
She had the attached arrangements in the store. They actually delivered them this evening (their time)! It was great. My older granddaughter was so pleased. She never received flowers before. The little one was in bed before the photo was taken. My daughter said they love them.
The taller one, bottom photo, is the older granddaughter’s arrangement. I cropped the photo and removed her face and the tag at the top. But her face and the awe it had on it. We need to do this periodically for them.
(It has been a while, so I deleted the photos. They were up long enough. Cid)

If another shows up, you will be banned) my students would sometimes send me flowers and wish cards on Christmas or Thanksgiving. It was very heartwarming.
