Oh, I was away for couple of days and you have started a real party here! Cool! I don’t know any of these tunes, but it doesn’t matter, I still want to join! I’m terrible at playing these kind of things by ear, but I found that sheet music SharonC added for cello, so I will try it!

that was great! im really liking these on cello all.. @mouse do you think you could transpose something to cello for the kerfunten jig? Very popular tune and it will be over on the session.

found it and wrote the cello. I did not use the first one. I used one down a little ways, number 10:
Every time I upload anything it is sideways unless I keep doing it over and over and then go into my photos and keep editing and flipping it over and over. If I load it sideways, it uploads sideways. If I do it vertical it still uploads sideways. So, you have to tilt your head.
I can’t do it like a jog, but it is lovely as a ballad! 🤣🤣🤣🤪

so. @mouse...umm ...can you play it? i sorta dont have a cello yet.. you did that transcribing quick! hey here is a good version on fiddle. you can also liaten to Martin Hayes version but it has alot of ornaments. If not at least you have a cello version out here now for someone.. thank you

I was playing it tonight. It is a little rough yet, but I cannot play it as a jig and, honestly, it is a lovely ballad or slow piece. I can't even force myself to speed it up because I love it slow.
I can post it for you in a few days. This is your party, and it is not the song you wanted in your party, but do you want me to,post it here for you? Your party, you call the shots. 😁
It doesn't take long to do the music as cello. I just take the notes in the treble clef and put them onto the bass clef. Basically a line lower.
