Thanks to Fiddlerman for these 2 beautiful pieces that I played with my friends, for our 1st beginner quartet concert! Today we played 14 Christmas songs for elderly people in retirement homes.

I'm 2nd from the left (violin 2)

Cakes, hot chocolate and warm smiles were our thanks... I am very happy to have sunny their afternoon😊

At the beginning I was so stressed😅 and even my friends too... the bows were shaking and our sound was really shy... and then over the songs it got better and better.

We made mistakes, it wasn't as good as when we rehearsed... but in the end it's not so catastrophic for a first lol

And the goal is achieved, to make these people happy

I know this one as 'Angels we have Heard on High' but my wife knows it as 'The Gloria'. Either way, I hope you like it - I've built up from a single violin to multiple instruments by the chorus.

@--Jim-- Dunleavy

That was great!

I recently got a book of Christmas music by Craig Duncan that has harmony parts for each song. I'm working on creating a few as soon as I can figure out the split screen thing for recording a duet with myself.

Hope to join the party!

@maudmaud -

Congratulations on your Party Badge!

I haven't practiced any Christmas music for this year, yet.

...but, I'll see if I can come up with something.

Got a kick out of that Jim!  what kind of flute are you playing?  What is the style i guess is what I mean.

as always, clean playing and video work!  liked the switch in camera angle on keys..nice touch there.

Thanks all.

@ABitRusty  it's a standard orchestral piccolo. It plays an octave higher than a standard flute in C. It's very, very loud in the high register and is great for annoying inside 2nd violin players blink
