Great job Kinda Scratchy.  I love playing Edelweiss.  I'm working on some embellishments for it right now.

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.

Oh, that was great, Diane.

Beautiful tune and you did such a fine job, both playing the two instruments and video presentation.

It turned out that I heard this tune several times, but did not know the name, lovely tune though.

Thank you for posting that, Diane.

@ Diane:  Super nice job on that piece. I'm so impressed with your progress over the past year, only one question. Just wondering why you didn't play it on the, "Traveler".

That would have been awesome.

Thank's for "Edelweiss", it's beautifull.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I really enjoyed doing this one.

@Fiddlestix Ken: I didn't play The Traveler primarily because I've got another special tune in the works for her. I'm planning to do the photo shoot at several landmarks next weekend and, hopefully, will record the video then, as well. Please stay tuned.

You are very talented KS. I'm looking forward to what you are gonna bring with the Traveler.

I really like your most current Waltz vid. Your guitar sounds so sweet. And inter-mixing your new friend just works.

What is needed on your vid > you dressed in leather with a kind of "I've Got This" kind of a grin > cause you do have it.

Thanks, Rick @StoneDog . I appreciate your nice comments.

But...leather?? While playing Edelweiss?? Well, OK, maybe leather lederhosen would work.

Yeah, that elusive grin/smile thing. When half my brain is reading the music and the other half is listening to the click track and the other half is paying attention to technique, there are no more halves available for smiling.

Well done Diane, and I even saw a hint of a smile which disappeared quickly.

Beautiful playing.

Gosh darn, you're right, Robyn. I hadn't even noticed it myself. I had to look at the video again after you mentioned it...and there it was at :20 (lasted no more than a second). I'll try to hold it for two seconds next time.

Parties are for sharing, and imitation is the sincerest form of something or other, and ...

Hearing Josefin's Waltz played by @KindaScratchy, I loved it so much I started playing it and eventually decided to record it.  Not wanting to upstage KS, I didn't make a backing track, and I threw in a few off-notes and little bowing errors, ha ha.  Anyway here it is!

As StoneDog said...well played, RosinedUp! Well played. I did not hear any off-notes or bowing errors, intentional or unintentional.

And I'm thrilled that I actually inspired somebody to do something musical. :)
