You all know that I love my cello. I absolutely love it. Lately, I have been playing my viola and violin a little more. Do you know how that makes me feel like I am betraying my beloved cello? surprised

Yep, I always end by playing a couple tunes on my beloved cello. I want to get my viola and violin up to par with my cello, as low a par as that is! Funny thing, the songs I am doing on my cello, I have a dilly of a time with on my viola and violin and they are not that hard. I think my cello is sending messages to my arms so I have issues bowing and fingering. Yep, I believe that is is.

My cello will just have to take a deep breath and live with it. I do love the violin and viola, also.

I completely understand! The relationship between me and my cello is so strong, that I can’t even imagine a day without it. Sometimes when I have very little time to practice, I kind of feel just that, that I’m betraying it! 😮 We are meant to be together!

If I started playing the violin, my cello would probably die and refuse to do anything with me anymore. 🤪

I think it my be, for me that the position of myself of the cello learning against me and the angle of the bowing and fingering arms is more comfortable. I tend to fight the violin and viola. I need to stop doing that. I hug the cello and it just feels like it wants me there. With the violin, I feel like I am keeping it from running away, 😁
