Actually I was trying to assign that page to your Fred but couldn't figure out how to do it. Also ran out of time. If you send me any information that you would like me to add I'll do it happily. That page is meant as a quick guide instead of people having to come here and flip through all the comments to find what they are looking for.

I just learned the Canon in D on the cello last night! I'm working on pitch and tempo, but it's pretty stinkin easy for the cello part; it's the violin parts that are the fun parts, but such a great sound with the cello.Okay, so how's this for a new invention....... you know how there are double-necked guitars,,,,,, how about a mechanism that hooks a violin/viola to the side of a cello so that you could actually bow both at the same time and move your left hand back and forth between the two necks,,,,,, think about it for awhile,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ok, just kidding

@Pierre On the tune, I've been working on the railroad, you have two eigth notes equalling a quarter note and an eigth note played as a triplet.

Kevin, this is the marking to indicate that when you see eighth notes you need to swing them instead of playing them straight. Let me know if you understand what I mean. This is a very common marking.

From what I found about swing is to play the two notes short long. Is that correct?

Kevin - Long, short. Just the way you would sing it. Take the Wor-king on-the Rail...... for example. If you sang the four syllables evenly it wouldn't be right.
