Thanks Oliver.

You don't ever have to ZAP anything. If someone wants to use it they can if not they don't have to.

I did not want to create the idea that there may not be better practice material somewhere along the thread but I do not remember seeing two main parts together at a practice tempo.

You're right, nothing was done at a slower practice tempo.

I've only said that I want to start collecting in the end of October. We can discuss this but I was thinking that we could post the result early November so that the video has a chance to grow. cheerleader

I''m only trying to assign priorities to my present collection of FM related practice materials being that I'm on hold right now due to lack of black ink.

We discussed cheaper alternatives for black ink, LOL.

Maybe the solution is to get a iPad or something similar. dancing

Mr. Fiddlerman (re: The music)

I have been working very hard at playing bars 1 - 28 as written but my violin (or me) just sounds terrible.  Maybe it's the D string at fault, maybe not.

HOWEVER, all is great if I raise the first 28 bars by one octave.  How about that?

Maybe I could do as written with the electric but nothing like a true acoustic sound.

What's the story, Coach?

(Black ink victims ....... I have an ancient HP that I use frequently and I just realized that I had to buy my first cartridge replacement since moving to NC almost 4 years ago.  I believe the printer has been discontinued probably because it works so well.  There may be more profit in cartridges than printers.  Sort of like bows versus violins smile

What if you recorded it 1 octave higher then use a program (like garage band) to bring it down to the right octave?

Yes, could do but I actually like the part up one octave.  I think it might add to the bell effect (?)

One octave above would work. Which part are you referring to?

Sure thing Oliver. As long as we are in the same key anyone who wants to can play up an octave. I'm going to transpose one of the parts to Viola also for anyone who plays the viola.tongue
