I have heard that before, but I don't know the name. It was nice seeing and hearing it done again. My arms and hands are sore from watching it.

Never heard it on the viola before very cool sounding compared to the fiddle.

I thought it was a Bach piece. It is so similar to my Bach cello book pieces.

There was a famous violist who did all of the S&P on the viola back in 1990 or thereabouts. I saw him on telly talking about it, but I can't remember his name. I can only suppose it was Bashmet. Bashmet does a great Telemann, but my boxset of him has no baroque at all, which I'm kicking myself about. I need to research him better.
