I bought a Fiddlerman Hybrid Violin Bow around Feb 15 or so. I have used it with my warm sounding Rudoulf Doetsch violin. I am very pleased with this bow in combination with the Rudoulf Doetsch violin.

I like the balance and weight of this bow in my hand. For me, it works. I have issues with a flailing violin bow. It is more prevalent with the violin bow than the viola or cello (length issue, I believe). The weight and balance seems to work with me. I can feel I have a bow in my hand, but it does not feel heavy for a violin bow. It is just a normal weight bow, but it is so much more comfortable than other bows I have tried.

The sound is warmer than the pernambuco bow I was using with that violin. I tried it with my Fiddlerman Concert Deluxe violin. It is a bright violin, It actually made it a little warmer sounding, to me. Since, I want that violin bright, I will continue to use my Fiddlerman Carbon Weave with that violin.

The Fiddlerman Carbon Weave violin bow also solved the flailing issue when I play my Fiddlerman Concert Deluxe violin, but it made the Rudoulf Doetsch a little brighter sounding, which I did not want from that violin.

I use the carbon weave with my Fiddlerman Concert Deluxe and love that combination.  I use the Fiddlerman Hybrid bow with my warmer Rudoulf Doetsch violin, and love that combination.

Finding a good bow is not always an easy task, congratulations.     I'm glad to read another good review of this bow.

I broke my favorite and best Pernambuco bow a couple of days ago.  After reading the reviews of the Fiddlerman Hybrid Violin Bow  I went ahead and ordered one, it is arriving today.  I'm excited I really hope it is as good as everyone says it is.

I had my old Schuster bow for 30 years, it will be interesting to see how the new one compares to it.
