Well, I wouldn't normally post what is effectively just a "practice" session - but I have kind of fallen in love with this old tune - Mockin' Bird Hill - and just wanted to share where I am at the moment with it. So - it IS just a practice session - first of the day - and even before my first coffee - LOL. About 10 attempts and two coffees later , I got the double stop sequence on the second part pretty much nailed ! Next thing to do is swap out those steels and get synthetics on for a richer warmer tone....

What a fun little tune 🙂 And I thought you did pretty well for it just being a practice session (and before coffee! ) I love double stops. I've been working on them in Star of the County Down, but other than a few little things here and there, I really can't get them right yet.

Well thanks @BowMeAway ! It is a fun tune and the DS make it more interesting. It's a month-on from that post and - oh - I suppose it has been played at least another 100 times - it's a LOT more fluid now and almost sounds "good" LOLOL
Good luck with the double-stops - it'll get there....
