Hahaha, its a good idea though, maybe a better built one would work more efficiently. Does the additional weight throw your balance off?

Dammit Dave, that just induced an attack of vertigo similar to that recently suffered on my trip up the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Awesome idea though, I can see it going places ...

amuse

If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

I was trying to get a shot of my left hand at work as I played. Try as I might, I just could not get the correct angle. I had one rig with a better angle, but I forgot to leave room for my left hand. I could only play around 2nd or 3rd pos. I am lost in that neighborhood!

I was going to go crazy, spinning around the house, outside up and down the stairs. Then I thought of those with sensitive stomachs. I tried to keep still. I don't know if you are familiar with the David Letterman Show? They used to strap a camera on a chimp and let it run through the studio, up in the rigging, attacking the audience, man it was something. They called it the Monkey Cam. Although Chimpanzees are Apes, I am sure the little guy did not care about the misnomer.

That was FANTASTIC. I almost died laughing, which brings me to another idea. The violin cam is OK but let's admit it. Just a little boring, not much action, right? How about the bow cam??????? This would be REALLY cool.

PS. I don't mean that your video was boring. Far from it.afro Very cool.

That was next, I bought a web cam with a small clamp. I was just figuring out how to attach it to the end of the bow! To bad I can't play "The Devil Went Down To Georgia"

I was kind of hoping they would collect enough to re-hair their bows! Judging by the size of the audience in that concert hall, I think they made enough!

Nice bow cam, but you're right, it would be nice to get a good view of the left hand.

You should sell the idea to an amusement park - picture your video up on a gigantic 3D screen with a theater full of movable seats laugh It would be an instant hit, and much cheaper (and safer) than a roller coaster!

Oh gosh well that was interesting. you should try mixing it with the violin cam. You could make a full on music video!

You'll get there in time. And when you do, you'll have all the camera spots you need ready to go :D

You could dub over some music - like lip synching with the fiddle! surprised
