Well here’s one more. When I first listened to this I kinda liked it, now I hate it. The more I listen the worse it sounds.
Anyhow, I composed this the other day. This is actually my third iteration. I’ve since deleted the others. They also sounded okay at first, but then I would wake up and listen again and hated them too. Figured if I keep doing that crazy circle it would never end. So I settled for this. Thanks for being my Guinea pigs.

Jon Bracone - This is very nice! Very creative.
You posted this under "Share" not "Critique" so I hesitate to voice an opinion. Also, I'm not particularly qualified to do so.
But... if this helps address your concerns...
I LOVE your violin! It is very soothing. Adding the stark piano chords causes a surprising juxtaposition in the sound. My gut feeling is the piano part seems a bit jolting - makes me hesitate to "hang on for the ride" - when I really want to take the journey with your violin. Maybe something as simple as rolling or extending your piano chords a little might change that feeling?
I apologize (in advance) if you intended for this music to give this feeling - and will gladly amend my post.

Hi ELCB! Thank you for your comments. I did think the chords sounded like a piano as well but that was my guitar, the single notes are the piano. I didn’t strum them I finger picked the chords, probably why it comes across that way. Interesting, and I thought kinda cool, that’s why I left it that way. I’ll take your advice for next time 😉
also I didn’t even see the critique forum. Thanks!
