Ran..well more like crackled and popped ( knees ankles..everything..lol ) up the stairs for some kitchen acoustic. My pinky seems to be glued to the ring finger..you guys fight with that? Dont know for sure how to get it relaxed other than needing it for a note or cut. Anyway.. Here goes..
Sounds good, I'm not familiar with that particular tune.
@Mark my bad..i shortened the topic title..its 2 tunes..out on the ocean and the lilting banshee .thank gou!
Nice piece... sounded fantastic, and not just because of your excellent kitchen acoustics 🙂
Thanks! I dont play up there much. Scares the pets to much and doesnt help marital relations! 🙂
Loved it. I so wish that I could play songs like that. Bravo!
Sounds good, we’ll done and a beautiful piece!
Sounds pretty neat. Thank you for sharing
@fiddlerman appreciate it! Its like a magnet between them at times
Great job on these Greg. Nice combination of tunes. Two of the ones we commonly play here.
I have my thumb up which is much worse. You are in a good position to learn other finger patterns with those fingers down.
Thumb is an issue here too. Ill watch and its like a flag sticking above fingerboard sometimes.
Yeah those a pretty common..hoping to play next time I go to session and keep up!
Sounds really good @GregW I look forward to the day when I can play like you and the other folks here who have been at it for a while. I've had my fill of nursery rhyme tunes!

My teacher tells me there are only two things keeping me from becoming a great fiddler...My right hand and my left hand.
Loved Lilting Banshee especially since it was one of my earlier songs. Good job.
Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
