I sat in time out again, just itching to play.  I am hoping that the itching to play transforms into no fear, no performance anxiety when I do actually play.

Another fiddler showed up, YEAH!! and he was awesome.  He gave me so much more informative than the one that showed up about a month ago.  He played my violin and I played his for a few songs!!

I learned so much -  I have been so worried about playing chords.  He taught me about atonal chopping, chunking.  I am actually beginning to hear the chord changes

I wanted to record a few where I have taken the first recording.  I have warmed up before recording.  But have not recorded several and chosen the best one.  Makes it more live if you know what I mean.

A tune I am working on - https://www.youtube.com/watch?.....417OQuZwcY

A few other tunes I am working on.  These are from memory but can you hear the pages turning?  I could not remember which tunes I have memorized!!!  If I play really slow I have these down.  I am trying to speed up but you can see what happens!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?.....M2xsQSgmpg

Youre showin' up at jams and talkin' about performance anxiety  .. LOL  Youve already cleared that hurdle and dont even realize it  coffee sound like youre having fun and learning new things. Relax and let go, theres not one musician that didnt start at the beginning and they all know and remember that and I bet they have lots of respect for you putting it out there.

Keep doing what youre doing !!

There is no shame in playing twinkle, youre playing Mozart

@Schaick - a big thumbs-up at yah - cool ! ty !!!!

It can be "difficult to join in"  -  but many times - you know - it is not as "hard as it seems" - you are doing well !!!!! and as Barry said Youre showin' up at jams and talkin' about performance anxiety  .. LOL  Youve already cleared that hurdle and dont even realize it

LOL - "performance anxiety" - so true - so very true.....  GO FOR IT @Schaick - you are well on the way....

I myself just need that last little bit of self-confidence to do the "share in public" thing - ohhhh -  trust me on this - I have no fear - been there before - but not on fiddle...  bit more practice - and I'll be fine LOLOL ( and I'm only talking days  till I do the StreetJelly thing.. )- hmm but not at 2am GMT folks.... LOL - bad time-zone for that - 2am in the morning for me - I don't think so... I could TRY... but I doubt it.... all you'd hear was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !!!).. ROFL - already slept through @Barry SJ performance. much to my annoyance.. grrrr

cheerleader@suresh: If you click on the CL girl and she disappears, just hold down on your button and move your cursor over to her when she shows up in a different place. Then when your cursor is on her, release the mouse button and she will appear in your post box.

That is how I have to do it.  cheerleader Good Luck.

Thanks Fiddlestix and FM.  But no luck.  She is playing only 'hide' and not 'seek'.  Let me wait.

@Ferret  BUT you played at a Wedding!  That accounts for all my jams plus many more!!

Report - day after my weekly jamming.  I lead a few songs and was able to receive them back AND when I messed up was able to get back in the groove!  Yes there were less people there but less people = much less nerves.  Still even with less nerves tunes would just disappear from my noggin.  If asked I wouldn't even be able to hum the tune.  I need to listen, listen and listen to the tunes.

I'm going to learn this song for next week:
