Aloha everyone,

I was inspired by thinking of the (in)famous pirate John Paul Jones.  Pirates were called buccaneers after the French word for BBQ.  They would raid the shipping lanes, then hit the beach for some R&R and BBQ.  In that way, they were my kind of guyscool

I hope y'all like it!

I like it.  Nice tune.

Thank you for your compliment @Fiddlerman,

Coming from you, that really means a lot.  As I've mentioned before, there's really only one explanation.  God has given me musical ability beyond that which can be attributed to me having simply taken piano lessons and learning some music theory.  Even though I can't play most of what I write, all i need do is pick up my fiddle, start playing in a particular key, and bam!  These tunes keep popping into my head, and I scramble to figure out how to play them well enough to use MuseScore to put them in sheet music.

I will eventually learn to play all of them, but I'm not quite there right now.  I really enjoy playing the fiddle and really appreciate what you've given us here.  This is the best way I know to give back to you and the community.  I just need to slow down a bit and get more accompaniment and backing tracks laid down.  I've written 20 tunes already - maybe I should take a small breakcool
