Would it be pushing it to ask for a sneak peek at the halloween project, the Adams Family?

Because you insist and because I am so slow. I haven't done any bowing and easier parts. This is a very rough draft but you guys can get a head start if you like. :)

That looks awesome, Pierre! I can't wait to play that. My brother wants to encourage his daughter to participate in the next Fiddlerman project. She plays bass. She is an adolescent, but you don't have an age limit do you? Can you write a bass part for her to play?

Great!  I'll tell pass that along to my niece.  Will you write a bass or part do you think a particular one of the violin parts might work well moved down to the bass' range?

Yay!!

Thank you so much, fiddlerman!

I realized after I submitted I played the high part in violin 1 in the wrong order. :O

Thanks for letting it slide :)

So good to have a chance to play in a virtual group! That was wonderful!

I'll definitely be working on violin for Addams family, but if there's an easy cello part I'd love to tackle that too. Especially since once the kids go back to school in a few weeks I get some quiet practice time!!

Thank you!!!  I hope my niece will participate.  I haven't communicated directly to her about it yet, but my brother seems to think she's into it.  She might get school credit for doing it, too!

I sent them a link to the previous Ghostbusters group project as an example of how fun a Halloween song will be!

FirstPancake, it's not so noticeable when mixed in with all the parts. 34 tracks :)

This is a couple of weeks on - Brian, an old friend of mine ( nothing to do with us here ) , who is rarely in touch emailed me concerning both " @KindaScratchy and Bill Play Red Wing" and the FiddlerMan Rising Sun Group Project videos - and he thanks you all - LOL - here's what he said - not so sure about the "musical talent" ( referring to me ) - but it is welcome nonetheless...

Bill,

AWESOME!!! loved them both! Red Wing and Rising sun!! EXCEPTIONAL! Hat off (exposing the large bald bit) to all involved!  Glad to see you are enjoying yourself so much! Just incredibly jealous of people with musical talent! (I was blessed with none...£250,000 worth of illegal software synths and all I can create is farting noises...)

Just a joy to hear your incredible musical progress and the nonsense that still resides in that crazy mind of yours!!!

LMFAO - aye...  we used to work together many years ago - yes - nonsense and crazy sums it up....   I would tend to suggest "off-the-wall" sounds better, but crazy works well enough for me....  LOL

But the point is, whatever I have done is "only one part of a whole" and only comes down to what this site and the posters, and the contributing artists in the project that have provided their parts - be it a single play-along with Diane or a fully mixed FM composition as in HOTHRS have given ME...  SO, I thank you all !

So there ARE folks out there who appreciate what we do !  Is that not just totally cool ?   I know, I know, sure - a huge proportion of the success goes to @Fiddlerman for the mix ( and mixing-out LOL ) - that ALSO is truly appreciated...

Please, just keep on doing it folks ! - it WORKS....  it really WORKS....

Thanks for sharing, Bill!  Every one I've shown the "House of the Rising Sun" video to has been totally delighted.  We're a hit!
