... Just figured it could be better to do it OK rather than feel guilty day after day about not getting around to it....
Hahahahaa! Kidding? Thanks for babysitting with us! XD Much better with videos, i almost can ignore You in the V1 part (ofcourse, in places You wished to be ignored, LOL!!!XD)
And i have another question (i'm still not good with the intonation):
Is there any difference between violin tuning on your videos and tuning that've been used for the click track? Somehow i have to tune it a bit higher when play with the click track and a bit down again - playing with the videos. Otherways i don't match, especially on the open strings.
Maybe i'm paranoid though
LOL!
Thanks!!!

So.. I haven't practiced this one much. I confess it was kicking my butt. I will work on it and decide this week if I am going to participate.I am eager to hear who is participating.
Has anyone turned in a recording?
I'm going to do all four parts and I'm about 80% done for as good as I'm going to get in another month, we'll see. Working on this has been real stimulating for me and I'm finding that some other projects are now possible that I wouldn't have thought possible otherwise.
I'm going to wait until the last moment to turn it in since there is always something that can be improved.
Remember, you don't have to play every note or every measure. Just make sure what you turn in matches the click track. Every contribution will help. If the double stops are too much, just pick an upper or lower note and play that alone. If some passages are too fast, just sit them out, keep time and come back in when you can play again.

Back to practicing this and listening to the click track...How is everyone else doing?
Just about ( not quite ) got the scary part ( bars 34 - 41 or so ) at about half speed with MuseScore tempo set to 50%. And about 3 times out of 10, I can get it "OK-ish" at full speed - but far from being perfect or "fully automatic" yet...
These projects are great - ignoring the Xmas "easy one" - I learned so much beyond just playing the Thaxted piece, like just how composition and harmony all fit-together. This one is similar, although, for me, needs improved bowing control for the note timings.... my bow "control" in terms of speed and pressure and position in relation to the bridge/fingerboard is pretty much OK now, it's still the direction changes, where slurs should occur, other techniques, and so on.... etc that often catch me out......
Although I HAD made an attempt at the real thing on vln 1 prior to the extension - it was never going to be good enough, and my 3 week break in May did not help my practice time... So..... Prior to the extension, I had "glossed over it" and just picked out "things that fitted" if you know what I mean, rather than sitting it out completely I simply cheated, by using the bars from vln 3 or even easier, from vln 4 for that difficult (for me) part. LOL - tell NO ONE !!!!
What else am I doing with this piece, Toni? Oh yes-and I may be wasting time on this - well not really - I have also been avoiding the use of open strings, and getting that darned pinkie working on the lower string... (si, mi amiga vibrato desperada ) - it is quite interesting how different it sounds....
LOL @TerryT - air-fiddle - works for me man ! Never a note out of place.... I play it perfectly - let's do a duet dude !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

Still struggling with maintaining consistent intonation, so I swallowed my pride and taped out the fingerboard again.
Things are progressing much faster now. I can play Violin 2 with the click track at full speed. The last bit is I am still having issues playing double stops in third position --especially double stops that involve my pinky. That means double stops in the second half of Violin 2 require tons of shifting. If I can't get them 'ready for prime time' in the next few days, I may just play the top note.
