i just purchased a Fiddlerman bow.  When tightened, the hair on the outside edge is a little looser than on the inside edge.  I was wondering if the bow was haired this way on purpose?  I know a lot of people tend to roll the bow towards themselves when playing.   I like the bow, but I'm not sure if our teacher is going to be happy with the hair like this.  Thank you ?

There are times when heat and humidity can play havok with hair.  I have had your situation with a new bow and it cured itself within a couple of days.  There are measures to take to tighten hair involving heat, but I would rather not get into that yet.  If its not better in a couple of days give Mike or Pierre a call.  I know they will fix it.

And WELCOME.  We are glad you are here.

Hey laundrycrisis,

Send some pictures at [email protected]
If you got a poorly haired bow, we'll send you a new one of course. :)
I apologize for the inconvenience.
PS. let me know when you send them so that I can personally take care of it.

I just checked the email and saw that John had replied. I didn't realize it was an Amazon purchase. Just do the exchange through Amazon and if you get another one which is similar, contact me and I'll hand pick a bow for you. It shouldn't happen again but they are haired by hand and quickly at that. :)
