@Ripton -
How about playing some bass chords as an arpeggio & end up on the alto note? Doesn't have to be 3 or 4 note chords, could be just 2 - a bass note played 1st, then the alto note.
Maybe choose to substitute 1 note, or a whole bar/measure of bass notes for the corresponding alto notes?
