Cremona Kreisler Violin
These violins are so good that we have a hard time believing that they are replicas and not fine old Italian violins. Recently we tested more than a dozen new violins and ran across the GCV replicas and knew right away that we needed to offer these instruments to our customers. We are very proud to be offering such wonderful sounding, beautifully crafted, and easy to play, instruments.

Get this violin: GCV - Cremona Kreisler Replica

How would you compare this violin to Kohr's HC602? I was going to purchase the HC602 after looking at all the other violins you have reviewed. I like the sound, and want a quality instrument that I can afford, and after watching your extensive demo on it, I was wondering where your opinion is. I like the G string sound on the hc602, and to me it sounded a little darker in tone. This violin seems more bright, but it is difficult to tell without touching either one and simply looking at videos!

Can you please demo Czardas on the Kreisler replica as well, so that I could listen to both violins on the same piece? I would very much appreciate it! Thank you for your time and reviews.

Adverse - You might be right about the sound of the HC602 being slightly darker.
The reason that I made the review today (been dragging my tail lately) is because we sold that violin. I had to do it quickly to ship it off. Unfortunately we don't have one in stock for now but have one on it's way. They need to be set up first.

I really like that violin. :) Make me wish for a new one already. It's a little too expensive for now (but its definitely worth that much!), but I'm hoping I be able to buy something like that in the future.

Yes Naska, it is. I really like that chin-rest. Comes in 4 different plate heights.

I read it and I'm not surprised. Now I'm waiting for the sound trace of my voice. smile

LOL, thanks :-)
Dennis says it had by far the best sound analysis of all the violins that I did demo's on. He also said that my voice had a super good analysis. ;-)

Hi Fiddlerman,

i checked the link from the GCV-HP.
There is written, that all replicas can be ordered in different versions. (600E, 800E,...,1000E)
Can you tell me what version it is which you are selling in your shop?
Thanks for answring!

Best regards,
Sebastian

What I meant by what I said was that your voice obstructed the violins trace analysis and the violin would no doubt have sounded better had you not talked in the middle of playing...

Interesting question. I didn't see an indication of that anywhere on the violin, the invoice or the label. I'll ask the GVC and get back to you.
