Hello, first of all sorry about my english, i would like to ask about a violin that my grandmother brought me from some country of europe to Argentina long time ago.
Label says Copy of Micael Deconet fecit venetiis 1754 bkn, the size is 1/4 and needs a little setup, (strings, bridge).
I want to sell it now because i already have another, so, does anyone knows the price?
Thank you.

I must admit. I don't know what you guys are talking about. LOL
Need to either take a Spanish course or use Google translate or similar.
Sorry about that...I got a bit carried away....
I was saying he needs to post some pictures, not just the label but the whole Violin especially the peghead. I also said it's possible if his ancestros were from Italy, France or Spain maybe it was bench made....because to me the last name of the label sounds "Italian" to me.
But then In the second comment I noticed this thread was posted a while back so maybe he doesnt need any help anymore.
We'll see if he follows up, his english is pretty good so I'm hoping he'll respond. There's alot of really good Violins down here that are very old brought over by immigrants. Many of them made their way into the hands of some VERY famous Violinists who played with the famous Tango orchestras of the early 20th century in Buenos Aires.
Here is one of the most famous: "Juan D'Arienzo y su Orcestra de Tango" I actually saw a Violin for sale here recently in Buenos Aires that was one of the Violins used by one of these Violinists in this group who passed on a few years ago. It was asking a pretty penny to say the least and I believe was French made. No doubt one of the Violins in this video.
